🗓️ Important Dates

• Early Check-In: March 8 6:00-9:00PM

• Race Day: March 9, 10 AM - 2 PM

• Registration Closes: March 8 @ Noon (No Walk-in Registrations)

• Grand Championship Race: Compete for the prestigious District Piston Cups.

• Champion Medals: 1st-3rd place medals in each race class.

• Over 20 Design Awards: Showcasing creativity and innovation.

• Open and Outlaw Races: For friends, family, and former scouts.

• Special Appearance: Last year's powered speed demon, Return of Billy Bob at 400mph!

🚗 Participation

• Open to All: Scouts, friends, and families. No matter your previous experience or placement, come and join the fun!

• Categories: Bring your fastest and most creatively designed cars.

• Cost: $13 per registration. Each entry receives a 2023 Goose Creek Derby Patch & an entry into our derby prize drawing.

• Special Awards: AWARDS include Class speed awards, grand champion speed awards, and over 20 Design Awards.

FINAL SCHEDULE

The race schedule will be finalized on March 8 after registration closes. Once the race schedule is set, races will never start before the published race time. The races are setup so to let families take their cars after their race if they are not in the grand finals. We do encourage everyone to attend the Outlaw race and STEM event, as overall design awards and our final raffle prizes will be presented prior to the grand finals.

TIGERS Race/Awards/Raffle: 10:30 – 10:45 AM
WOLVES Race/Awards/Raffle: 10:45 – 11:05 AM
BEARS Race/Awards/Raffle: 11:05 – 11:20 AM
WEBELOS Race/Awards/Raffle: 11:20 – 11:40 AM
Walk-in Check-in closes at 11:30 AM
ARROW OF LIGHT Race/Awards/Raffle: 11:40 – 12:00 PM
OPEN Race/Awards: 12:00 – 12:20 PM
VOLUNTEER BREAK: 12:20 – 12:30 PM
