The Heart of Cub Scouting

What Is Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting is a journey filled with fun, adventure, community service, and friendships. It's a place where boys and girls in grades K through 5 can grow and learn together.

Who Can Join?

Our Family Scouting Program welcomes all children from kindergarten to 5th grade. We offer ways for boys and girls of the same age to participate in dens together.

Why Choose Scouts?

We embrace the Cub Scouts program because it helps youth develop essential life skills such as academic proficiency, self-confidence, ethics, leadership, and citizenship. Here's what we focus on:

  • Life Learning: Structured settings encourage new skills and a habit of continuous learning.

  • Faith, Family & Tradition: We nurture children's identity through faith and tradition, breeding hope, optimism, and compassion.

  • Service for Others: We teach recognition of others' needs and community involvement.

  • Healthy Living: Our outdoor programs emphasize mental and physical wellness.

  • Building Character: We instill specific values such as fairness, courage, honor, and respect.

The Principles That Guide Us: Scout Oath & Law

Scout Oath

On my honor, I will do my best to fulfill my duty to God and my country, obey the Scout Law, help others at all times, and keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law

A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

The Structure of Our Pack

We are organized into Dens according to grade level, with Pack leaders, parents, and guardians playing key roles in our community. Together, we create a supportive environment for our Scouts.

The BSA Mission

The mission of the BSA is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. We are proud to be part of this mission.
