Its going to be a great day for a hike!  The hike will cover some requirements for your advancement.  The time scheduled will not all be hiking, as we will take a little time to enjoy the grounds.  

We will be meeting at the parking lot @ 2PM and leaving on the hike by 2:15PM.  Prior to leaving we will review Leave No Trace and Outdoor Code.

6 Essentials for a Campout or Hike for Cub Scouts

1. First-aid kit: adhesive bandages, moleskin, gauze, antibiotic ointment, etc.

2. Water bottle: filled and large enough to last until it can be filled again

3. Flashlight: for emergency use only

4. Trail food: snack for the hike

5. Sun protection: sunscreen or hat (depending on weather)

6. Whistle: also for emergency use only
