Join us at Ida Lee Park from 10 AM - 12 PM to launch model rockets! We will be launching in the field near the soccer and other athletic fields.

Each Scout should bring a model rocket kit that is built and ready to fly. Rocket kits are available at local craft and hobby stores. We recommend kits labeled “Ready to Fly,” “Almost Ready to Fly,” or “Easy to Assemble” as they typically require minimal skill to assemble.

Each Scout should also bring engines and igniters. The park restricts how high rockets can fly, so please use engines on the lower end of the range accepted by your rocket kit. Each rocket kit lists the types of engines that can be used on the side of the box.
